Hi, I'm Joel! I'm all about keeping things simple and plain, so here's what I do:
- I can help you in setting up or fixing your computer(s). I've worked intimately with technology for years now, and I tend to be pretty good at it, including:
- Offering advice or guidance on choosing, building and using your own PC or laptop.
- Helping choose, setup and install your new laptop and/or PC.
- Assisting in speeding up or "unbloating" your computer.
- Figuring out the best way for how you want to backup your personal data, including photos and documents.
- Recovering your lost files, including flash drives and SD cards.
- Helping go through your "online presence" (AKA the different websites you visit) and perhaps cancel unwanted subscriptions or other services.
- I can help you get a better "internet connection" in the following ways:
- Consulting and advice on what changes you could make to run things faster and/or smoother.
- Installation of new hardware- anything from a simple, basic home router to a professional, enterprise-grade scalable home network- while both being budget friendly and choosing quality equipment.
- Help with most any Wi-Fi related issues.
- Above all, I am one of the biggest advocates in the world when it comes to empowerment through knowledge! I am happy to provide anything from a few basic pointers to a full-blow lecture about how to run a whole new operating system.
